P. James B. Dyck is a Professor and Consultant Neurologist at Mayo clinic, Rochester Minnesota who has an experience in treating conditions like peripheral neuropathy.  He is interested in areas like pathological studies of peripheral nerve disorders and clinical trials in peripheral neuropathies (presently conducting one on diabetic lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy).
 
Dr. Dyck completed his graduation from Carleton College and received his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School. He then served his residency in neurology at Barnes Hospital and Washington University followed by fellowships in Peripheral Nerve, Electromyography from Department of Neurology. He also completed a fellowship from Peripheral Neuropathy Research Laboratory, Department of Neurology in 1999.
 
Dr. Dyck is board certified in neuromuscular medicine, clinical neurophysiology and neurology from American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Currently he is Expert Consultant at Media Experts Program, American Academy of Neurology, President-Elect at Society of Clinical Neurologists, Abstract Reviewer at Scientific Program Advisory Committee, American Neurological Association, Director at Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology Section, United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties and Fellow at American Academy of Neurology.
