I have more than 20 years experience in diagnosing and treating patients with a variety of neurologic diseases. As a neuromuscular specialist, I perform electromyography and interpret evoked potentials.
As a treating physician, I focus on the treatment of patients with myasthenia gravis. I am also interested in measuring quality of life in this illness and how it improves with treatment.
My other interests includes treating patients with acquired inflammatory neuropathies, such as cidp, and myopathies such as polymyositis and dermatomyositis.
Most recently, I have developed an interest in amyloid neuropathy and I am collaborating with sister institutions on clinical trials for these diseases.
