Lauren Stern is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in nephrology at the Boston University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed her residency and fellowship in nephrology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
 
She enjoys working as a clinical educator and meeting diverse patients as well as working with experts in other medical fields. Dr. Stern conducts round as an attending physician as well. Some conditions she treats are chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, nephrolithiasis, electrolyte abnormalities, hypertension, and glomerular disease. She has special interests in end stage renal disease, pregnancy related kidney disease, amyloidosis, kidney stones, electrolyte disorders.
