Today, my Amvuttra arrived.
What looks like a simple package represents months of appointments, testing, waiting, advocating, and pushing through obstacles. As someone carrying the hereditary ATTR amyloidosis gene, access to treatment means hope, proactive care, and another step forward in my journey.
This experience has reminded me how important it is to listen to your body, ask questions, and advocate for your health.
