Cardiac Amyloidosis is a rare but serious condition where abnormal proteins called "Amyloid" accumulate in the heart muscle. This buildup causes the heart walls to thicken and harden, which prevents the heart from pumping blood effectively and can ultimately lead to heart failure.

It is vital to stay vigilant for warning signs, such as being easily fatigued, experiencing shortness of breath when lying flat, or noticing swelling in the legs and abdomen. Other symptoms may include heart palpitations, irregular heartbeats that could lead to fainting, or even numbness in the hands and feet.
