Joseph "Pops" Francis Ruby Jr

Background

Elvis, Joe’s son in law, has been diagnosed with a rare and serious kidney disease called MGRS (Monoclonal Gammopathy of Renal Significance) — specifically lambda light chain renal amyloidosis with C3 glomerulopathy. This condition causes abnormal proteins to damage the kidneys and requires aggressive treatment. Elvis is beginning chemotherapy using the Dara-CyBorD regimen, which is expected to last about six months. If his body responds well, the next step will be a stem cell transplant, a critical part of his path toward healing.

As you can imagine, this journey comes with overwhelming medical costs, travel to appointments, time away from work, medications, and everyday living expenses — all while focusing on keeping Elvis strong and supported through treatment. We are incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and encouragement already surrounding us.

If you feel led to help financially, please know that any amount makes a difference, and sharing this fundraiser means just as much. Most of all, we ask for continued prayers for healing, strength, peace, and guidance for Elvis and his medical team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us during this fight.

With love and gratitude,
