Frank C. Passero, MD

Dr. Frank Passero is an Assistant Professor of medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center. He obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went on to complete an internship, residency, and a chief medical residency in Internal Medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. He pursued his hematology and oncology fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts where he carried out laboratory research studying the effects of proteasome and HDAC inhibitors in lymphoma.
Dr. Frank Passero has a special interest in plasma cell disorders including myeloma and amyloidosis and wants to provide patients with the opportunity to participate in well-designed clinical trials for these and other related diseases.
