Reinhold P. Linke is the founder of amYmed - Referenzzentrum fur Amyloidspeicherkrankheitenexternal link, opens in a new tab. amYmed is based on the development and production of a series of amyloid antibodies which guarantee the exact diagnostic typing of the different amyloid diseases with expert evaluation. He founded Amyloidforum along with his various other colleagues in 1978. He was awarded Tosse-Prize for Pediatric Rheumatology together with H. Michels, MD, Garmisch.
He was also the Founder and President of the German Society on Amyloid Diseases (1993 - 2001).
