The Surf Fest and the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation were created in 2004 in memory of Chip Miller, who proudly raised his family in Ocean City. Chip was known worldwide for his passion for Corvettes and resilient positive attitude.
In 2003, Chip was diagnosed with a rare disease called Amyloidosis, which occurs when abnormal protein, called amyloid, builds up in one or more organs causing malfunction. Just a few short months after diagnosis, the world lost an incredibly special person. The foundation needs your help to prevent this from happening to others.
