I’m raising money in memory of my beloved, beautiful mum, Georgina, who sadly passed away in August 2024 following a long battle with AL Amyloidosis - a rare disease that affects only 1 in 100,000 people each year.
On the 22nd March 2026, I will be challenging myself by running Rome Marathon in honour of Mum’s life, while raising vital funds to support Amyloidosis UK in their research, development, care and awareness for others affected by this devastating disease.
Why Rome?
Rome was one of Mum’s favourite places in the world. She visited many times and spoke about it often. Even during her illness, she held onto the hope of getting better and returning to Rome. This journey is my way of carrying that dream forward for her.
Any donation, no matter how small, is truly appreciated.
Thank you for helping us remember Gina and support a meaningful cause.
