Transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) is often thought of as a condition primarily affecting men.
However, growing evidence shows that women are also impacted and may face unique challenges in getting diagnosed.
Subtler symptoms, smaller cardiac size, and less “typical” presentations can all contribute to delayed recognition in female patients.
