BridgeBio Pharma announced that acoramidis, a drug for transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), significantly reduces serum transthyretin variability and outpatient worsening heart failure, showing early and sustained benefits. The Phase 3 ATTRibute-CM study demonstrated a 34% reduction in cardiovascular hospitalizations compared to tafamidis, with a favorable mortality trend and comparable safety. These results highlight acoramidis as a fast-acting, effective treatment option for ATTR-CM, approved in multiple regions, with ongoing data presentations planned.
