I have wt attr-cm. I have heard that Amyloidosis is rare....I am the fourth person I know with this disease . Including myself two with AL, two with wt Attr-cm.
Now the curious part...three of us met as we were all recipients of puppies from the same Rottweiler litter. The other fellow was a close friend and breeder of German Shepherds....and a physician.
All of the others were diagnosed before me, and because of that I knew about the disease and watched them on their respective journeys...when it came to me, I was all over the ppssabilities and symptoms very early in the process, which lead to early diagnoses ( I have MGUS too ) and treatment .
