David Wolinsky, MD is a graduate of Columbia University where he received his undergraduate and medical degrees. He carried out his postgraduate training and then spent seven years on staff at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City before joining Albany Associates in Cardiology in Albany, New York where he worked for more than 20 years. There he was the director of nuclear cardiology for 20 years and also served as director of heart failure and director of cardiac rehabilitation and wellness. Dr. Wolinsky is the founder of the Nuclear Cardiology department at Albany Associates in Cardiology.
 
Dr. Wolinsky is a champion for community education for heart disease. He frequently lectures on cardiovascular risk reduction and heart failure as part of his role as director of Cardiac Rehab and Wellness. 
 
Dr. Wolinsky is Section Head of Nuclear Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Amyloid Clinic.
