How Can I Cope With Fatigue?
source: Amyloidosis.org.uk (National Amyloidosis Centre)
year: 2015
summary/abstract:Patients with AL amyloidosis may experience extreme tiredness, either due to the amyloidosis itself or as a side effect of some chemotherapy drugs. Tiredness can be exacerbated by a number of problems, including pain, anemia, anxiety, depression and poor diet.
Patients should discuss these problems with the doctors and nurses treating them. Pain can be treated with painkiller medications and sometimes other, non-drug measures; counseling may help with anxiety and depression and referral to a dietician may be helpful.
